3.5 stars Despite the book being *almost* unoriginal (think Labyrinth, Alice in Wonderland, Neverending Story, Romeo & Juliet)... I was quite drawn, especially towards the second half. Kagawa took it and made it her own. And it was great. It's Midsummer Night's Dream with a more urban and updated feel. I was also very thankful that Meghan was a strong female lead with conviction and confidence, rather than a doormat princess. I put this series off for a long time thinking it was going to be too juvenile but now I'm grateful to have a few more books already published that I can dig into right away!
